Nauser's passion for music and singing started since she was very young at age and she would perform for her family and relatives during her family functions or gatherings. Over the years, her love for music had changed her taste vastly leading her to be versatile in wide range of genres such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Sentimental Ballads and Pop. To continue her quest in her love for music, she was now a member of an acoustic band at Republic Polytechnic.〔("Representing Asia-Tabitha Nauser", Xinmsn Website, 21 May 2010 )〕
When Nauser's grandfather is in poor health, she wanted to show him that she could do something that makes a difference in her life. And with the strong encouragements from her younger sister, Nauser decided to register for the ''Singapore Idol'' audition in May 2009.〔(Interview with Tabitha, Tabitha Nauser Audition )〕〔Interview with Tabitha Nauser before she sang the song 'Bohemian Rhasody' at Spectacular #2 ()〕
